2026 Hawaii Workshop

A five-day photography workshop in Hawaii, led by photographers Alan Schaller and Steve McCurry, will allow participants to explore the islands' diverse landscapes, including dramatic coastlines, lush forests, and vibrant local culture. This experience combines their complementary photographic approaches, with a focus on storytelling, composition, and emotional depth. The program features hands-on shooting sessions, one-to-one mentoring, group critiques, and in-depth discussions on visual storytelling, creative intent, and developing a personal photographic voice. The workshop is designed to challenge and inspire participants, helping them improve their work whether they are interested in intimate human moments or graphic compositions.
